Details: Very Collectable 1999 Bentley Arnage Green Label powered by the fuel saving BMW Twin Turbo 4.4. Pewter Silver Exterior, Interior Beige Leather with Navy Blue carpeting, walnut wood accents, moon roof, New updated Alpine audio system with Bluetooth and IPhone integration, CD changer, alarm, updated late model factory alloys, books, garage kept, Bentley serviced, outstanding body and interior. This is a hand built wonder that will never be duplicated. Originally purchased Bentley Dealer in Palm Desert California and has lived most of its life in the dry warm desert. 49,000 miles1999 Arnage powered by a BMW V8 engine, with Cosworth-engineered twin-turbo was more modern, considerably more fuel efficient with 32 valves, double overhead camshafts plus Bosch engine management technology . The BMW motor was a brilliant choice opposed to a 16 valve, single turbo and an ancient pushrod motor dating back to the 1950´s with less advanced engine management that was used in the other Bentley Arnage models. The rare production of the BMW powered Arnage and Bosch electronics is the one to collect. At the end of the day the BMW twin turbo unit remained noticeably more agile and responsive from a drivers perspective (maintaining a 50:50 weight distribution) and ultimately far more reliable from a long term performance perspective. Due to politics the Arnage 2000 and up models reverted to the old V8 engine with the General Motors-sourced four-speed 4L80-E automatic transmission and the BMW powered automobiles were gone. 1999 was also the last year Rolls Royce was British owned.
